Introductory Drawing
Dates: Monday 7-9pm, Wednesday 7-9pm
Where: Arts and Culture Centre, Gander, NL

No prior experience necessary, classes are designed to accommodate beginner and experienced artists. The foundation of any good painting starts with a good drawing.

Learn and understand perspective, train your eye to see proportions and draw them correctly, fully understand value, light and shadow and how it effects the object and three dimensional form. Be able to realistically draw a face capturing the likeness of the person.

Classes will include demonstrations, but will focus on a one on one approach. I believe everyone learns at their own pace and breakthroughs happen for people at different times. This course will help prepare you for the challenges of painting, breaking things down into manageable steps that build on one another. Whether you are serious about pursuing art as a career, or would just like to find a new hobby and have some fun, contact me and we can get started.
